'Bye Bye Birdie' opens Thursday, Dec. 4 at Dover-Sherborn Middle School
Dover -Performances of “Bye, Bye Birdie” will be held at the DSHS Mudge Auditorium Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.ticketstage.com or at Eaton Apothecary in Sherborn and the Dover Café and Deli. They will also be available at the door for $12 each.

Newton aldermen send letter to state opposing toll hike
Newton -Twenty-two aldermen sent a letter to Gov. Deval Patrick asking him to reconsider the proposed increases for the tolls on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority voted last month to increase the tolls in Weston and Allston-Brighton by 75 cents and double the tolls entering the Sumner and Ted Williams tunnels to $7.
